After countless interviews, I decided to venture back to a solo podcast starting with an episode on Arabic words in English. This episode is based on my reading of “Europe speaks Arabic” by Dr. V. Abdur Rahim. Dr. Abdur Rahim has authored five books solely on the derivatives of Arabic words into other cultures. If you’d like to learn more about Dr. Abdur Rahim’s work, you can do so by going to his website.
“Europe Speaks English” was recommended to me by a close friend. To begin with, I am not a native speaker of Arabic. I have, although, studied Arabic academically. I was surprised by the amount of commonly used words derived from Arabic.
I hope you enjoy listening to this podcast episode. If you would like a copy of “Europe Speaks English” please send me an email or a tweet. I will give them out on a “first come, first serve” basis. Otherwise, you can always purchase it on Amazon as a Paperback.
