Sami Yusuf’s plea for the Typhoon Haiyan Victims

I had the privilege to have Sami Yusuf on the podcast back in Summer of 2013. More than his amazing music, what I found inspiring about him was his dedication in serving non-profit organizations. His tireless, humble contribution to society doesn’t cease to amaze me. I was recently contacted by his representatives with a message that I would like to share with you.

Sami just released a single for the Typhoon Haiyan victims in the Philippines. You can watch his message to the world below as well as donate. You can download his new song here, or clicking the green DOWNLOAD button below. If you are financially capabale, please donate to this great cause. We might not be able to go to the Philippines and help out but the least we can do is donate what we can. May Allah accept out donations and bring relief to the victims of Typhoon Haiyan quick.

Message from Sami Yusuf’s Reps
Dear Walid, We are delighted to announce that on December 24th singer, songwriter, composer and producer Sami Yusuf will release a new song dedicated to the survivors and victims of Typhoon Haiyan in the Philippines. Titled “Hope Survives”, this FREE non-commercial song is the backbone of ‘Live Feed Philippines’, a campaign in collaboration with the United Nations World Food Programme (WFP) to encourage donations that will support families affected by the storm and to raise money for the victims of Typhoon Haiyan. Our goal is to direct people to WFP’s donation page. Please click here to watch Sami Yusuf’s personal appeal in his latest blog. We would be most grateful for your support in helping us promote the single and driving traffic to the above donation page. Kind regards.
